Background: Compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use is a practical indicator of occupational safety behavior, particularly in companies with mechanical and material handling risks. Objective: This study aimed to examine the association between knowledge and attitude with PPE use compliance among employees of PT Tri Swardana Utama in 2025. Methods: This quantitative study used a descriptive analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of 40 employees, all included through total sampling. Primary data were collected using a structured questionnaire, while secondary data were obtained from company incident records. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis and Pearson Chi-square test with a significance level of p < 0.05. Results: Most respondents had good knowledge (65.0%), positive attitude (65.0%), and good PPE compliance (62.5%). Knowledge was significantly associated with PPE compliance (p = 0.010; POR = 6.00; 95% CI = 1.44-24.92), as was attitude (p = 0.001; POR = 10.50; 95% CI = 2.31-47.78). Conclusion: Knowledge and attitude were significantly associated with PPE use compliance. Routine safety education, behavioral reinforcement, and consistent supervision are needed to strengthen PPE compliance across work areas.
